Pineapple Slushie
A quick and refreshing 3 ingredient pineapple slushie always hits the spot on a hot summer day! So healthy and complies with a vegan, paleo and Whole30 lifestyle.

Just try and convince me when it is summer time you don’t start to crave slushies, or slushie-like substances (sno cones, I’m looking at you).
I know I certainly do, but it’s usually a hard pass since those are filled with fake colors and loaded with refined sugars. While that’s fine for a rare treat, I wanted to have a refreshing slushie I could enjoy all the time.
This pineapple slushie is a tropical blast, made one hundred percent natural, with no added sugars, and takes less than 5 minutes to throw together.
It cures those sno cone cravings in a healthy way while cooling you down.

Ingredient notes and substitutions
Pineapple– Fresh pineapple will work best here. I haven’t tried subbing canned or frozen. If you try frozen, you may not need ice.
Expert Tips
- Blender- If you do not have a high-powered blender you might want to add the ice in batches to make it easy. The final version of this pineapple slushie is thick and smooth.
- Sweetener optional– My pineapple was ripe and sweet so a sweetener was not needed. If yours isn’t sweet enough try adding 1-2 tablespoons of honey or your preferred sweetener if vegan.

FAQ’s
Is this healthy?
This slushie is as healthy as just eating fruit! We don’t add anything to it except for ice and water. It is so fresh, full of vitamins and antioxidants, and a great way to sneak in more fruits into your diet.
Is this a kid-friendly pineapple slushie?
Absolutely! It passed my 2-year-old’s taste test.
Is this paleo/whole30/Vegan?
Yes, this icy slush fits any diet that allows fruit and water! It is vegan, paleo and Whole30 friendly
Can I add alcohol?
Hell yes, you can! And it would epic.
This would be amazing with a shot or two of rum or vodka. Pick your poison and enjoy. Obviously, that would make it not kid-friendly and not compatible with some diets. And always, drink responsibly.
What is the best blender for slushies?
My preference is a Vitamix. I don’t have a super nice one, but it works perfectly for it. Ninja makes affordable high-power blenders as well.
