The Law of Attraction and Money
The Law of Attraction is a metaphysical principle that suggests that like attracts like. It posits that the energy and thoughts we emit into the universe attract corresponding energies and experiences back to us. In other words, our predominant thoughts, beliefs, and emotions shape our reality, influencing the events, circumstances, and people we attract into our lives. Practicing money affirmations is one of the best ways to change your subconscious thought patterns surrounding money.
However, your beliefs about money need to be assessed at the same time. Our thoughts are a byproduct of the beliefs that reside in our subconscious mind. Most of the time we are not conscious of the beliefs that are designing our life, but instead living out of habit.
To become conscious of the hidden beliefs about money that you may have ask yourself these questions:
- What are my feelings surrounding my financial situation
- When I think about money I feel (fill in the blank)
- I treat money with respect (true or false)
- I believe I have to work hard to get money
- Do I have guilt about spending, debt, or the money in my bank?

Try this Money Meditation Practice
I must preface this visualization with the fact that I didn’t make it up. I learned it from a book I started to read on my Kindle, got rid of it because I didn’t think it was digging it, then realized this visualization was perfect for me. Then I couldn’t find the book again.
Sigh.
Anyway, this visualization works for me because it is very easy to pretend and visualize all of the pieces. I know the sounds and feelings and what it would be like to experience it, so it is very easy and real to visualize. There is no pretending.
At night before falling asleep I say these three affirmations 5 times each:
I am worthy of abundance
I am surrounded by abundance
I am grateful for my abundance
And then I begin my visualization. I visualize waking up in my bed (but in my dream house bedroom) and it is literally raining money inside my home.
Everywhere I look there are puddles of money, I then picture the morning routine that I do every day in real life except I visualize there is money falling everywhere. And to make my coffee I have to scoop money out of the way or to make breakfast I have to push the money into buckets and set them aside.
I think about the way the money sounds as I shuffle my feet on the floor because there is so much money on the floor.
I imagine the sound of money falling would make as it flutters past my ears.
I think of what it would smell like in my home when it is engulfed by money.
When you do this you can visualize any part of your day or dream life, but what I found to be the most beneficial is to actually use something that happens every day. That is why I always pick my morning routine.
